I began working at Nance Elementary right after graduating from SWOSU in January 2018 as a Teacher’s Assistant and Reading Coach. I had the privilege of spending the bulk of my time assisting with Pre-K and I absolutely loved it! I was absolutely blessed to be offered a position as a Pre-K teacher for the 2018-2019 school year and I could not be more excited! 

Although this is my first year teaching, I have years of experience with children! I began babysitting as a teenager, and was offered a job at a local childcare facility not long after. I worked there throughout my high school career and also partway through college. I knew after working there that working with children was my absolute passion!

I have been married to my husband, Connor, since September 2013! He was born and raised in Clinton, along with his twin brother and his older sister. We have three nephews who we adore. We also have an energetic 6 year old Australian Shepherd named Duke!

I love to spend time with my family! I also love to read, I am constantly searching for new and exciting books to enjoy!
