Pre K Teacher
I graduated from Lomega High School in 1991 and then from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1996 with an Elementary Education Degree.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education.
I am very blessed to be able to teach Pre-K for a fourth year this year! Early childhood education has always been a passion of mine. After owning and being Director of Creative Play Child Care Center here in Clinton for ten years, I was given the opportunity to teach Pre-K (my dream teaching position) and loved it! I look forward to another great year!
I started out my teaching career by being owner and Director of a large child care center. I was able to spend my days with children of all ages. This has given me lots of experience with children and most of all I was able to spend everyday with my kids. My kids are now older and so I wanted to be able to try my hand at teaching in the public school.
I have been married to my husband, Brent for 20 years. We have two wonderful children. Tanner is 18 and starting his Freshman year at SWOSU and on the SWOSU fishing team. My daughter Kambree is 13 and will be in the 8th grade this year. Both of my kids are very active in sports. They both play basketball and Tanner plays baseball and Kambree loves to play softball. When our family is not playing sports, we love to be outside. We love to spend time with our family going camping, fishing and hunting.
I love to read and spend time with my family. My kids are my passion as I love chasing them as they play sports and doing things they love.
